Poker is still growing internationally. I think brighter, but different colored skies are ahead. Poker will always have winning and losing players, but the games might look a bit different than they do now. And it's just a matter of time before online poker is regulated in the US. Maybe I'm a dreamer, but I'd rather be all glass half full on this one. Great writing/casting elevated it out of the realm of just your average sci-fi show. They EPIC-ly failed on the ending though, I thought it was really really disappointing... but I'll probably watch it again some day so I'm reserving final judgement until then. My absolute favorite shows in that genre are Firefly and Dollhouse. Joss Whedon ftw. Tim – I really really liked BSG for most of its run. My wife enjoyed it more than I do which is strange considering she frequently derides me for being a huge geek. So, I seek a view from someone more firmly attuned to the genre than myself.
