gazillions of bubbles!

I think it’s time I told you all about the Gazillion Bubble Show.

You see, it was an ordinary birthday Saturday. My Dad (Wayne, hard-working patriarch of the family gas station these days) and Scott came into the city with promises of a Broadway show and dinner at a trendy Korean BBQ joint. This sounded like a wonderful idea considering that at 4pm, I was still tremendously intoxicated from the festivities of the preceding night. Were we seeing a musical? Tom Stoppard’s new play, maybe? My brother grinned mischievously and called up the web page for the Gazillion Bubble Show, in which a female Asian bubble artist amazes little children through the blowing of (well, I guess it was a gazillion) bubbles.

So I made the family wait downstairs and got high. My Dad is a huge weirdo and apologized for not doing research on what the show was about, but honestly? Under the influence, it was incredible. What a way to spend my 24th. Unbubblievable.
