Heading down under for Aussie Millions: DeucesCracked hosts Aussie Millions Academy
Academy schedule: http://www.aussiemillions.com/Page.aspx?ID=1426
Sorry for the infrequent updates (I suck at blogging lately), have been busy moving into a new apt (Emil and I have split :-O) and getting my act together for 2010 and the pending journey down under. Will post more coherently and more frequently in the coming days, Happy New Year people!
Oh, and almost forgot: I don’t think I stressed enough how awesome and funny this is, if you have seen Star Wars Episode 1 this is a must watch (watch the first few minutes and you’ll see what I mean): http://www.slashfilm.com/2009/12/17/watch-this-70-minute-video-review-of-star-wars-the-phantom-menace/

Happy new year, have fun in your new apartment & GL in Australia! Looking forward to more frequent updating!
Also a couple of question:
Can we expect more ‘Never Tell Me The Odds’-like material in the future on DC? I liked it a lot.
Are there plans for 2M2MM season 2? Talking to networks etc?
Are you going to hand deliver 2M2MM to Australia while you are down here?
Kidding, really enjoyed the show, hope you get another season.
What events are you playing down here in the Millions? Anything else planned while you’re here? Would be a waste to make the trip and not make the most of it.
Jackson – yes, planning on continuing Never Tell me the Odds starting in mid-February… re: 2M2MM, hopefully will have some news one way or another in a month or so.
Dodge – I know G4 was trying to sell the show in Australia… Haven’t decided on events yet but a few (def HU event). Any recommendations on things to do in Melbourne? We’re there for 3 weeks, afterwards going to explore Sydney and see the Great Barrier Reef. Can you say TOURIST?!
So first time to Australia Krantz? Welcome!
In Melbourne, go down to Ackland Street in St Kilda and check out the beach and all the cafe’s and coffee shops. Find a free day and do the Great Ocean Drive.
Sydney’s are fairly straight forward (Harbour Bridge, Opera House, Bondi Beach, etc).
Definitely do the Barrier Reef, stay in Port Douglas rather than Cairns (tourist trap).
PS. Forgot to mention, if you appreciate wine, make sure to head out to the Yarra Valley. One of the top wine regions in Aus, if not the world.
Also, Melbourne is the home of sport in Aus. The Australian Open Tennis on while you’re in town and its cricket season so if you can catch a one-day match or a 20-20 game. Sure, you won’t understand what’s going on but its definitely worth the experience.
ayooooo
awesome mac video esp. since I just bought my first mac(macbook pro)
I seriously cant wait for the next 2m2mm release. It was one of the most entertaining shows I have watched over the last while. hope you get the go ahead foe another.
Regards,
Eric
